He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Spaulding and Doris Spaulding; and his siblings, John, George, Leonard Spaulding and Mabel Ballou.
He is survived by: his significant other Dora Cook; his children, Deborah Hatch (Richard) of Wilder, Don Spaulding (Pam) of Lebanon, Gary Spaulding (Mikayla) of Orford and Lisa Straley (David) of Shoreham; his great grandchildren, Jason, Cassie Spaulding, Justin, Jodi Spaulding, Chris, Laurie Hatch, Jeremy, Megan Hatch, Kristen, Spencer Kilduff (Lincoln), Steph, Tom McHugh, Emily, Owen Cushman, Lydia Spaulding, Britany Straley and Allison Straley; and his sister Eliza Mae Clay of Hartford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Spring Road Cemetery Association in Tunbridge, VT and mailed to Pat Derrick at 33 Ravenswood Terrace, White River Junction, VT 05001.
