He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bouchard and Beatrice Bushnell; and his siblings, Guy Bouchard, André (Thérèse), René (Denise) and Jean (late Francine).
He is survived by: his wife Madeleine Paquette; his children, Guy Suong, Benoît Suong (Nancy), Alain Suong (Karine), Stéphane Suong (Jill) and Anh Suong; his grandchildren, Jesse, Lukah, Sierra, Amy, Nikki, Nathan, Charlie, Chloé, Tristan, Magdeleine, Kalia and Lily; his great grandchildren, Jervis and Ava; and his siblings, Denis (Marcelle), Jacques (Diane) and Paul (Andrée).
