He was predeceased by: his father Larry Hanks, Sr.; and his brother Richard Laplante. He is survived by: his mother Mary Merritt; his wife Diana Laplante (Charles); his children, David Jr. of Newbury and Sade Laplante (Stephen Miner) of Corinth; his siblings, Larry Hanks, Jr., Tina Izaak (Jeremy) of Maine and April Clemons (David) of North Haverhill; and his grandchildren, Karlie and Arelia.
