She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Locklin and Virginia Locklin (Botham); her husband Murdo Smith (Sonny); her son David; her grandsons, Collin Smith and Jeremy Grant; her siblings, Duane "Bucky" Locklin, Elaine Petty, Anita Zentz and Shirley Bennett; and her siblings-in-law, Gerald Smith, Ginny, Tommy Buck, Joyce, Bob Drummond, Fred, Betty Smith, Carroll Bean, Sylvia J Drummond Morgan, Paul Petty and Tom Garrity.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Smith (Brenda) of St. Johnsbury, VT, Cindy Hall (Jeff) of West Burke, VT and Linda Smith Leach of St. Johnsbury, VT; her stepdaughter Shari Grant; her sisters, Alice Bean of Lyndonville and Carol Anne Bowles of Lyndonville; her grandchildren, Shawna Whitcomb (Todd), Shyanne Farnsworth (Curtis), Michael "Mikey" Smith Jr. (Morgan Poulin), Cody Smith (Desiree Boivin) and Jessica Smith; her great grandchildren, Kadienne Whitcomb, Taylor, Logan Farnsworth, Scarlett, Harvee Smith, Addisen and Ainslee Irene Smith; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra Locklin and Dolores Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
