She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother Gladys Dinnany Zelman; her husband Eric Zelman; her children, Alice (Chris Norris) and George Peterson; her grandson George Peterson Zelman; her siblings, Ed (Caroline Dinnany) and Carol Lippencott (Harvey Portnoy); her stepdaughters, Anna Zelman and Beth Zelman; her sister-in-law Diane Zelman (Michael Chaplin); her pets, Sophie and Misty; her son Brian Trevor Peterson; her parents, Ed Dinnany and Gertrude Dinnany; her friend Margaret; her grandchildren, Bella, Brody and Eric; and also George.
