She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Thompson and Irene Thompson; her grandson Brent; her great grandchild Andrew; and her siblings, Mary, George (Tom), Agnes, Franklin, Richard and Eugene.
She is survived by: her children, Yolanda Degree (Gerald), Cheryl Martin, Noreen Brace (Teddy), Keon (Joanne), Charlene Whitehouse (Jay) and Tim LeClair (Michele); and her sister Alice Pelliteir. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren.
