With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sumei Huang of Yorktown, Virginia, who passed away on January 2, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Xiaoxian Huang and Sunshi Huang; her husband Shenqi Chen; her daughters, Ying Chen (Hongwei Chen) and Xuan Chen (Liqun Liu); her grandchildren, Alex Chen, Abigail Chen and Yifan Liu; her sister Jingmei Huang (Baozhen Guo); her nephew Ke Guo; and her niece Lin Guo.
She maintained a very positive perspective on life in spite of challenges from Parkinson's disease and mobility issues, and kept writing diaries and trying her best in managing her daily activities.
