He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Gaarder; his daughter Margaret Fitzpatrick (Brian); his siblings, Sean Gaarder, Donald Gaarder and Caprice Cote (Ross); and his grandchildren, Jameson, Candace and Zachary. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
