It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Porter Taylor (Yorktown, Virginia), who passed away on February 10, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Porter Taylor to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marshall Taylor and Goldie Linton Taylor; and his siblings, Earl, Olen and Myrtle.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Jones Taylor; his son Douglas Dillon; his daughter-in-law Cicek Gercel-Taylor; his grandchildren, Lauren, Bradley Scherer, Dylan and Betsy Taylor; his brother Haden Taylor; and also, James Jones, Pamela Fox and Frances Taylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Mount United Methodist Church, 404 Thomas Road, Dillwyn, VA 23936.
