We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2020, Judith Faye (Judie Pifer) Vandervort (Yorktown, Virginia), born in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Pifer and June Pifer; her sister Joye Ellenberger; and her niece Theresa Vandervort-Southwick. She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Pifer and Gail Henninger (Dave); her former husband Bob Vandervort Sr.; her children, Sandra Caton (Michael) and Bob Vandervort Jr.; her grandchildren, Victoria Garcia (Chris Bentley), Mark Southwick, Courtney Vandervort, Nathan Vandervort, Dejah Stanback-Duryee, Ashli Duryee, Abigail Duryee, Daejon Duryee, Raymond Duryee and Zachery Duryee; and her great grandchild Ariel Bentley. She is also survived by her great-grandchild, grandchildren and other family members, feeding her squirrels and birds.
As Judie did not want a formal funeral, the family asks that donations can be made, in her honor, to The Kidney Foundation of Central Pa.
