In the sacred silence of farewell, Evangeline is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Evangeline's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Sparrer and May Diggs Sparrer; and her husband Ed Ferguson. She is survived by: her children, Linda Fox-Tankersley, Merilee Fox, Tim and Karen; her daughter-in-law Fox; her brother Wendell Sparrer (Ava); and her granddaughter Erin Tankersley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Amory Funeral Home (410 Grafton Dr, Yorktown, VA 23692).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
