He is survived by: his wife Carlette Davis Trent; his children, Kelley Haynie (Kirk) and Jennifer Gray (Neil); his grandchildren, Erin Houglum (Mark), Christopher Haynie and Jackson Gray; his great grandchildren, Emily and Parker Houglum; his siblings, Sharon Phares (Gene) and George Rawls (Sandy); and his aunt Peggy Burris.
