It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Caldwell Croom of Yorktown, Virginia, born in Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on May 13, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Billy Croom; her daughter Kathleen Croom Payson; her grandsons, Brandon Byrum (Jenna Green) and Brent Byrum; her great grandchild Kaylyn Grace Byrum; and her sisters-in-law, Faye Croom Timberlake and Parthena Croom. She is also survived by numerous nieces; nephews; other family and friends.
The family would like to acknowledge her for being so helpful and kind to Bonnie as she suffered through the many challenges of Alzheimer's disease and was with her through to the end.
