With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Fredrick Hottle of Woodstock, Virginia, born in Edinburg, Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Henry and Elizabeth Cook Hottle; his former wife Nancy Sherman Hottle; and his siblings, Weldon E. Hottle, Edward Hottle, Gary N. Hottle and Anna Hottle Markley.
He is survived by: his wife E. Jane Lineweaver Hottle; his children, Betty Laughlin (Hoyle II), Karen Wightman (Byron), Susan Harlow (Bill), Darrell Burner (Vicki) and Darren Burner (Kim); his grandchildren, Hannah Foltz (Jimmy), Colton Harlow, Olivia Wightman, Caitlin Burner, Sarah Salyards and Daniel Losnes (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Audrey, Nolan Foltz, Lilly Salyards, Mason and Lucas Losnes; his grandsons, Hoyle Laughlin III, Gus Wightman, Matthew Burner and Jimmy Foltz; and his nephews, Gary Hottle, Dave and Dale Sherman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
