He is survived by: his wife Lois Scott Payne; his sisters, Delores Carter (Susie) of Suitland, MD. and Sunita Payne (Carlton) of Temple Hills, MD.; his grandchildren, Zach Mauck, Tierra Scott, Tamra Scott, Tycara Scott and Brevin Scott; his nieces, Elaine Payne, Pamela Scott-Green (John), Akila Scott Bly (Corey) and Valeria Whitmore; his nephew Joey Nickens Jr.; and his great-niece Marissa Green.
