She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Johannesen and Cora Mae Johannesen (Schanck); her sisters, Dorothy Anderson Wittrock, Emaline Kussman, Shirley Crist Macrander and Catherine Kellar Currier; her husband Charles Samuel Hamilton; and her daughter Patricia Susan Hamilton.
She is survived by: her son Charles S. Hamilton II; her children-in-law, Debra Whitehead Hamilton and Michael Jay Hambro; her grandchildren, Susan Hambro Burton, Michael Brian Burton, Karen Ellen Hambro, James Arthur Spence, Charles S. Hamilton III, Kristin Buckstad Hamilton, Michael David Hamilton and Christina Marie Hamilton; and her great grandchildren, Ashby Hambro Burton, Oliver Elliott Burton, David Hoyle Hamilton and Jamie Larae Hamilton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
