He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Thurnher, Sr. and Azzie Lee Thurnher. He is survived by: his wife Myrna; his children, Jeffrey Thurnher (Rachel) of Fayetteville and Kristin Florin (Carl) of Arlington, Virginia; his grandchildren, Zachary, Ryan Thurnher, Oscar, Azzie and Matilda Florin; and his brother Charles Thurnher (Adele) of Manhattan Beach, California.. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the International Myeloma Foundation or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
