He is survived by: his wife Gaye Sturgill of Johnson City, TN; his son Jeffery Sturgill (Kathy) of Wise; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Potter Sturgill of Kingsport, TN; his stepdaughter Stephanie Frye (Kevin) of Frankfort, KY; his brothers, Archie Sturgill (Wendy) of Ocala and Ronald (Barbara) of Burlington, NC; his sister-in-law Eleanor Sturgill of Charlottesville, VA; his grandchildren, Jennifer Sturgill Mullins (Jonathan) of Wise, Will Sturgill (Tara) of Wise, Courtney Makris (James) of Lakeland, Logan Bond (Mark) of Denver, Bryan Sturgill of Kingsport, TN and Karen Sturgill of Kingsport, TN; and his great grandchildren, William Sturgill, Reid Mullins, James Makris, Mikayla Makris and Braxton Frye.
