He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Brummitt Boggs; his children, Terry Boggs and Sandra Boggs; his grandson Shane Boggs; his great grandchildren, Landon Boggs and Grace Ann Still; his parents, Jarvis Boggs and Viola Boggs; and his siblings, Cossie Boggs, Forrester Boggs, Fletcher Boggs, Dallas Boggs, Veldon Boggs and Dossie Boggs Hollenbeck Short.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Regan Boggs; his son Larry Boggs (June); his grandchildren, Roland Boggs (Becky), Amanda Nilene Boggs, Carol Marshall (Scott), Tonda Still (David), Reagan Boggs, Wesley Boggs and Dana Tompkins Mullins; and his sister Janice Hamilton. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild.
