He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Mitchell; his children, Venia Renae Mitchell, Willard Edward Mitchell Jr. and Amanda Kay Mitchell; and his sister Leoda Webb. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
