It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruble Sturgill Williams (Wise, Virginia), who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon E. Williams; her parents, Mack N Sturgill, Sr. and Rosa Marks Sturgill; her siblings, Theoma Wright, Pearl Messer, Dewey Earl Sturgill, Sr., Willie Sturgill, Roy Sturgill, Rev. Glen Sturgill, Mack Sturgill, Jr., Samuel Sturgill, Percy Sturgill, Kenneth Sturgill and Ralph Sturgill; her son-in-law Denver Cooke; and her grandson Erich C. Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Cooke; her granddaughter Amy Honeycutt (Scott); and her brothers, John Paul Sturgill, Marvin Sturgill and Kilmer Sturgill. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
