He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Toohey and Shirley Toohey; and his sisters, Dee Dee Toohey and Susan Toohey. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Toohey; his sons, Michael and Daniel Toohey; his brother Harry Toohey; his stepchildren, Scott Sanders and Brittany Cowan; and his grandchildren, Liam Toohey, Isaac Toohey, Brylee Richardson, Hadleigh Sanders, Ryan Sanders, Mabry Cowan and Jace Cowan. He is also survived by grandfather to his seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be made to Wise Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1161 Wise, VA 24293.
