He is survived by: his wife Debra Sergent of Wise, VA; his sons, Shaun Christopher Sergent (Donna) of Norton, VA, Aaron Kyle Sergent (Heather) of Wise, VA and Adrian Wayne Sergent (Hollie) of Clintwood, VA; his grandchildren, Hannah Grace Sergent, Sareena Faith Sergent, Savannah Hope Sergent, Brie Nicole Sergent, Madison Shae Sergent, Cameron Blake Sergent, Adrian Brody Sergent and Brey Egan Sergent; his brother Greg Sergent (Teresa) of Kingsport, TN; his close friends, Dennis Brummitte, Marty Kennedy and John Brummette; and his uncle Nathaniel Hamilton (Lena).
