We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2021, Evelyn Sergent Powers (Wise, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Rev. David D. Powers and Willard Harold Sergent; and her brother Carlos Hamilton (Cynthia). She is survived by: her sons, Marty Sergent (Debra) and Greg Sergent (Teresa); her grandchildren, Shaun Sergent (Donna), Aaron Sergent (Heather), Adrian Sergent (Hollie), Andrew Sergent (Katy) and Rachel Sergent; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Sareena, Savannah, Cameron, Madison, Brey, Brody, Brie, Isaac and Ellie; her brother Nathaniel Hamilton (Lena); and her close friend Betty Beverly. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; a very special family friend.
