He was predeceased by: his father James "Jim" Lester Jarvis, Sr.; his brother James Lester "Jimmy" Jarvis, Jr.; his grandparents, Florence, William Brinager, Clarissa Thompson Jarvis and Claude Jarvis; his parents-in-law, Florence and Woodrow Adams; and his siblings-in-law, Gayle Adams Kilgore, James Woodrow Adams and David Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Adams Jarvis; his children, Shannon Jarvis, Sonya Jarvis Ashe (Brandon) and Amanda Jarvis Ford (Marty); his grandchildren, Krista Jarvis, Savannah Blevins, Brianna Blevins, Sarah Blevins, Sevan Ford, Braylon Ford and Avery Ford; his great grandchildren, Kylee Begley, Sophie Begley, Rosalie Krampota and Noland Lawson; his mother Anita "Tick" Jarvis of Eastlake, Ohio; his sister Cheryl Jarvis-Warner (Scott) of Eastlake, Ohio; his sisters-in-law, Irene Adams of Pound, VA and Gwen Fleming (Starling) of Pound, VA; and his nephew Jason Hughes (Gail) of Norton, VA. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces; nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
