He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Green Heaberlin; his parents, Elmer Heaberlin and Margaret Davidson Heaberlin; and his siblings, Norman Heaberlin, Woody Heaberlin, Lynell H. Wells, Neva Jean H. Branham and Eleanor H. Mullett.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Faye Elliott and Ruby Wampler; and his pets, Sam, Teddy and Teresa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
