She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cox and Gladys Cox; and her siblings, John Cox, Nancy Taylor, Edith Phillips and Mary Cox.
She is survived by: her son Thomas Jones Jr. (Latisha); her former husband Thomas G. Jones Sr.; and her siblings, Billy Cox (Roxie), Thurman Cox Sr. (Steva), Margaret Powers, Teresa Salyers (Scott) and Carolyn Underwood. She is also survived by two grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
