She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hood and Nettie Rieves Hood. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Lee Lanning of Windsor, VA and Patricia Tribby (David) of Windsor, VA; her granddaughters, Rachael Pan (Jose) of Suffolk, VA and Bethany Brockell (Andrew) of Knotts Island, NC; and her brother Howard "Buster" Hood of Arlington, TN..
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory (509 W Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens (4569 Shoulders Hill Rd, Suffolk, VA 23435).
