With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yvonne A. Hill of Winchester, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Yvonne departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Yvonne. Though Yvonne may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Trout and Agnes Trout. She is survived by: her husband Hugh Kenneth Hill; her children, Jennifer R. Hill (Matthew Murphy) of Oneonta, NY, Derek L. Hill of Asheville, NC and Brian K. Hill of Hanover, PA; and her grandchildren, Alexandra Murphy of Oneonta, NY, Brianna Hill of Buckhannon, WV, Sophia of Washington, D. C. and Kenneth Hill of Washington, D. C..
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Yvonne.
