He is survived by: his children, Bill Armstrong Jr. (Shawn) of Winchester, Kim Armstrong Pifer (Bill) of Winchester and Holly Armstrong Leachman (Craig) of Macon, GA; his stepdaughter Mikki Hubbard of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Frank Armstrong and Gretchen Armstrong Redmond of Winchester; and his grandchildren, Will Armstrong, Mary Braden Armstrong, Emilie Pifer, Lindsay Pifer, George Leachman and Aaron Jones.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice or Cheers to Charity.
