He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jane Judy; and his sons, Charles William Stern (Marcie) of Stephens City, VA, David Lee Stern (Rebecca) of Winchester and Timothy Daniel Stern (Samantha) of Lebanon Church, VA. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
