It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelda Jean Stone of Winchester, Virginia, born in Truxton, New York, who passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Oscar and Helen May Craft Gilbert; her husband Leland Eugene Stone; her siblings, Gordon, Harold, Lee, Ron Gilbert and Esther Widger; and her son-in-law Bob Ambrose.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Ambrose of Winchester, Dean Stone (Charlotte) of Middletown, Rob Stone (Cara) of Loganton, PA and Randy Stone (Lois) of Fort Lauderdale, FL; her brother Carlton Gilbert of Zephyrhills, FL; and her sister-in-law Iva Gilbert of McGraw, NY.. She is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren; fifty-one great grandchildren; seventeen great-great grandchildren.
