It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Douglas Tower (Winchester, Virginia), who passed away on December 25, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franklin Tower and Ruth Aubrey Minnick; his stepfather Joe Minnick; his son Joseph Tower; and his grandson Benji.
He is survived by: his close friend Anita Wilhite; his former wife Kellie Carder; his children, Holly Richardson of Texas, Shana Richardson (Joe) of Gaithersburg, MD, Helen "Naiomi" Chapman (Darrell) of Winchester, VA, Devian Tower of Rockville, MD and Jonathan Wilhite of Winchester, VA; his grandchildren, David, Trey, Joseph, Alex, Shyanne, Sophie, Waylan, Jaden, Eliel and Conner; and his siblings, Martha of Martinsburg, WV, Paul "Bud" Tower of Alabama and Len Tower of North Carolina. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
