Raymond Newton Long Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2024, at the age of 77, Raymond Newton Long of Winchester, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvah Harding Long and Helen Marie Putman Long; his sister Estella M. Kline (Herbert Kline); and his brother-in-law Harold "Buster" Fincham. He is survived by: his wife Tanya Crane Long; his sons, Raymond (Sandy) of Winchester, VA and Robby (Amber) of Winfield, WV; his grandsons, RJ and Ace of Winfield, WV; his pet Honey; and his sister Juanita L. Fincham. He is also survived by niece, several nephews, and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Raymond's memory to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, #405, Winchester, VA 22601 or First Christian Church, 75 Merriman's Lane, Winchester, VA 22601.
