Anderson; her children, William Ruffin Simpson (Susan), Lucy Simpson Tell (Matthew) of Marlboro, VT and Carter Simpson Noyes (Douglas) of Trenton, FL; her grandchildren, William Michael Simpson (Elizabeth Sager) of Durham, NC and Sarah Meade Simpson (Warrie Proffitt) of Warrenton, VA; her stepdaughter Katherine McElligott Anderson of Winchester, VA.; and also John F. Anderson, Jr. (Katherine Pate) of Winchester, VA. She was also cherished by family and many friends.
