He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eppes and Mary Bean Eppes; and his close friend Mary Cunningham. He is survived by: his brother R. Bennett Eppes, MD (Cynthia) of Shaker Heights, Ohio; and his nieces, Elizabeth Eppes Winton, Susan Bennett Eppes, MD and Carolyn Eppes Gilbert.
