He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ahalt; his children, Amanda Hylton of Stephens City, VA, Jennifer Holborn of Winchester, VA and William Holborn of Winchester, VA; and his siblings, Shirley Kearbey of Hagerstown, MD, Mary Smith of Baltimore, MD, Sheila Kolb of Damascus, MD, Ann Bishop of Frederick, MD, Linda Ahalt of Maine, Charles Ahalt of Libertytown, MD, Tommy Ahalt of Reisterstown, MD, Bobby Ahalt of Salisbury, MD and Joe Ahalt of Michigan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
