He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bétit and Ruth Bétit (DeFriest). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Ambrose Bétit; his daughter Christie Drake (Josh) of Conway, AR; his granddaughter Lisa Goodwin of Kearneysville, WV; and his siblings, Marilyn Redenius (Bétit) of Erie, PA, Gregory Bétit (Jo-Ann) of Crown Point, NY and Anne Flemming (Kevin) of Enosburg Falls, VT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
