He is survived by: his wife Sophie; his children, John Sempeles (Anna), Lillian Funk (Gary) and Maria Rinaldi (James); his grandchildren, Michael, Sophia, Lauren, Joey, Jack, Ava and Gianna; and his sister Cia Gretes.
