She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston C. Birkett and Catherine V. Tumblin Birkett; her son Lester "Rusty" Poston, Jr.; and her sister Betty J. Boyd. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Wayne Pierce; her son Thomas "Jeff" Ray Poston (Sharion) of Winchester, VA; her siblings, Rita Wines of Gerrardstown, WV and Randy Birkett of Winchester, VA; her grandchildren, Brittney DeHaven (James, Jr.), Rusty Poston (Lacey) and Destiny Poston (Ryan Mulligan); and her great grandchildren, McKinze, James III, Paisley, Aubrey and River.
