He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ames Piggott; his children, Sylinda Piggott, Constance "Val" Piggott, Marcie Jones (Wendell) and Vernon Piggott; his daughter-in-law Judy Davis Piggott; his stepchildren, Vinette Smaw, Vamon Garrison and Timothy Morris; his nieces and nephews, Laurestine Fitzgerald, Suzanne Ferguson, Paula Ferguson, Angela McKelvin, Metrise Wayne, Mervin Piggott Jr. and Gilbert Johnson; and his close friend Vivian Redcross. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
