She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph H. Benson and Sarah W. Benson; her children, Addison Dawson, Jr. (Becky), Mitchell Dawson, Sr. (Valli), Melvin Dawson, Faye Silsby (Steve), Angela Walker, Audra Hoffman (Mike) and Sarah King (Steve); her siblings, Larry Benson, Sr. and Rebecca Rose; her husband Addison Carroll Dawson, Sr.; her son Michael Dawson; and her son-in-law Gene Walker. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Those attending the visitation and/or the service are required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
