With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lue Vennia Courtney (Warsaw, Virginia), born in Zacata, Virginia, who passed away on December 29, 2021 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Elizabeth Douglas Sanford and George L. Sanford; her former husband Frank Matthew Yeatman, Jr.; her husband Welford James Courtney; her brother Luther Alymer Sanford; and her sons, Frank Matthew Yeatman, III, George William Yeatman and Ryland Edward Yeatman.
She is survived by: her friend Susie; and her granddaughters, Frances, Karen, Carrie and Machelle. She is also survived by six granddaughters.
