She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Nettie Pearl Webb Childs; her husband James; and her children, James 'Leslie Sydnor (Andrea), Nancy 'Darlene Martin, Sandra McKenney, Cheryl Goodwyn (Wesley), Terry Lewis (Charles), Sharon Courtney (Edward), Barbara 'Bobbi Lawson (Jim Grimes) and Roger Whittaker. She was also cherished by 19 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
