She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alexander Clifton Powell, Jr. and Beatrice Truxall Powell; her husband Carlton George; her children, John George (Ann), Michael George (Martha) and Anne Douglas (James); and her grandchildren, Travis George, Samantha Caputo, Rebecca George, Christopher George, Reamy Chalkey, Carlton Douglas, Jane Luker and Danielle George. She was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
