She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph C. Bender and Ida Slabauch Bender; and her sister Edna Bender. She is survived by: her husband David L. Ross; and her siblings, Albert Bender (Barbara Ann), Barbara Bender, Susanna Nissley (John), Lucy Bender, Lewis Bender (Martha), Marie Showalter (Trent), Alma Fisher (Dale), Wilmer Bender (Wilmas Twin), Dora Rhodes (Jeff) and Mahlon Bender (Vanessa). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

“Dear David, I was just told today my dear friend Wilma had passed last year. I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Wilma several years ago at the Fauquier Court House, Records Room. She & I became best of friends, we had the best talks. I had been in touch with her after I left work by phone however we never could find time to get together. I had heard she was seeing the same Dr. as my husband. She was so kind, happy to be married & a real hard worker. God Bless You. Nancy Walter”
