He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peterson and Osie Peterson; and his siblings, Helen, Pauline, Doris, Don and Ed.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jane Peterson (Ayres); his children, Robert Peterson Jr. and Linda Dutton; his grandson Param Johnson; and his children, Robin L Williams (Clint) of Sumerduck, VA, Dana L Matthews of Waterloo, IA and Glenn L Peterson (Dana) of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
