He is survived by: his son Anthony "Andy" Gaines (Karen); his wife Vera Robinson; his grandchildren, Keona Gaines and Anthony Gaines, Jr.; his son Melvin Minor; his nieces, Tina, Tammy and Toy; his brother Thomas "Tommy" Gaines; and also, Tyrone Davis, Morris, Patsy Minor (James) and Glenda Gaines Turner. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
