He is survived by: his children, Carnis Lee Helton, Jr. (Siobhan), Jeffrey Wade Helton (Deloris), Linda Kay Fansler (Greg), Carolyn Marlene Whitacre and Adam Lee Helton; and his sister Thelma Jean Wilson (Jimmy). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
