She was predeceased by: her father Silas Settle; and her husband Raymond E. Brown. She is survived by: her sons, Downing Lee Hitt (Martha) and Edward Wayne Hitt (Terry); and her grandchildren, Paul Adrian Hitt, Deena Marie Hitt and Cassandra Marie Hatcher. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
